Delete your Roam account

Roam is made by Roam Software ApS (CVR 46659996). You can delete your account and your data at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Roam and go to Settings.
2. Scroll to the end and tap "Delete account".
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is deleted at once.

Without the app

Email privacy@joinroam.app from any address, with the phone number your Roam account uses. We confirm and delete the account within 30 days.

Delete some of your data, keep your account

You can remove single things at any time, without deleting your account:

• A trip, a stop or a chapter: open it in My Plans, tap Edit, then Delete.
• A tip: open it and tap Delete.
• Your profile photo: Profile, tap your photo, then Remove photo.
• A friend: on their page, tap Unfriend.

What you delete is removed at once. Backups may hold it for up to 30 days, then it is gone.

You can also email privacy@joinroam.app with your phone number and say what you want removed. We do it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile, your verified phone number, all your trips, stops and chapters, your friendships and pending requests, your privacy settings, blocks, invites and feedback, your profile picture, your share page, your notification token, and your sign-in record.

What is kept, and for how long

• Reports you made about another person are kept for up to 12 months, to protect the person they are about.
• Blocks other people placed on you stay, because they belong to those people.
• Backups may hold your data for up to 30 days, then it is gone.
